Federal Heath’s Las Vegas division completed this high profile project on the Las Vegas strip. The team created and project managed a magnificent design that was worthy of the corner space. Eight-foot channel letters were designed for two challenging surfaces and illuminated in different ways.

“Gucci” was manufactured with a golden finish and faced with push-through Toki LED lights to reflect the brand’s elegance. When it seemed as if bringing power to the sign was impossible through the glass wall, our project manager persisted until an innovative solution was found to pass power through the mullions. Meanwhile, mounting required that custom channels be created under each letter to perfectly align with vertical fins on the curtain wall.

On the lower part of the building, “Dolce & Gabbana” letters brought their own mounting challenges. An irregular façade wall consisted of geometric sections of glass bonded to angled honeycomb panels. Each letter was fabricated to conform to the angles of the glass it covered and aligned to mount through pre-drilled holes in the glass system. Letters are illuminated from within by dimmable LED lighting.
