Iconic Budweiser Sign Gets LED's

If you’ve ever been to downtown St. Louis, then you’ve most likely driven past this iconic sign.  Located off of Highway 40, this giant sign that stands more than 80′ high, was orginally installed in 1962, not far from the Anheiser-Busch brewery.

The entire sign was refurbished by Federal Sign (MX Services parent company) in back in 1994.  In May of this year, MX Services removed the 8′ x 40′ “Budweiser” letters, which had been illuminated by neon, and installed brand new letters with GE Contour LED lighting.

The A & Eagle trademark  is the most widely recognized symbol of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. First used on beer products in 1872, the symbol continues to serve as one of Anheuser-Busch’s most recognized logos, symbolizing the company’s preeminence among brewers around the world.
