City of Escondido Archway

The City of Escondido, alongside the San Diego Foundation, approached Federal Heath with short and long-term plans to revitalize downtown Escondido, California, in hopes of luring consumers back to the area. What better way to do that than with a big welcome sign? Thanks to an anonymous donor’s contribution, this dream would come to life for the city.

The grand entrance, also known as The Giving Arch, was designed and manufactured by Federal Heath and spans over 100 feet long and 40 feet high. The inspiration behind the design came from architectural elements that exist at City Hall. This iconic sign will welcome the community and visitors for decades to come.

I would be delighted to be a reference and speak to the magnificent work that you did and how pleasant and accommodating the entire team was in helping us accomplish the design, construction, and installation of the Escondido Giving Arch.”

- Trudy Armstrong, Director of Regional Outreach at Escondido Foundation
