PEI (Petroleum Equipment Institute) recently surveyed 130 of its members to find out what role forecourt upgrades play in building consumer loyalty. The results - fuel islands, good under-canopy lighting, well-maintained hanging hardware, and other exterior lighting ranked high on the list.
