RETAIL SIGNAGE ROLLOUT CASE STUDY
165 stores. 12 states. Six weeks. A coordinated retail branding program built on precision and partnership.
Federal Heath helped Hibbett transition from Adidas to New Balance branding by replacing logo box signage at 165 stores across 12 states in six weeks. The program combined collaborative planning, repeatable manufacturing and a distribution strategy built around 23 trusted installation partners.
For more than a decade, Hibbett and Federal Heath have worked together to bring consistent brand experiences to retail environments nationwide. That established relationship gave the team a strong understanding of Hibbett’s expectations, store footprint and operational needs. This logo box initiative put that knowledge to work on a focused, time-sensitive replacement program.
The assignment was part of an evolving relationship that also includes broader store branding initiatives. This case study focuses specifically on the completed 165-store logo box replacement, where speed, accuracy and coordination had to work together from planning through installation.

THE CHALLENGE
Replacing retail signage across 165 stores required more than producing new logo boxes. Hibbett needed a coordinated program that balanced a compressed schedule with consistent execution of the updated brand standards. Each location was part of one larger transition from Adidas to New Balance branding.
The six-week timeline covered the work from start to finish. Planning, production, shipping and installation needed to support one another, with clear specifications guiding the replacement effort. The team also had to account for the realities of working across active retail locations and minimizing disruption during the changeover.
Federal Heath’s long-standing relationship with Hibbett provided valuable context. Familiarity with the customer’s brand and store network helped the team focus on how to execute the program accurately and reliably across 12 states.

THE FEDERAL HEATH APPROACH
Federal Heath worked closely with Hibbett to define the updated logo box specifications and translate those requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes. Collaborative alignment helped maintain consistency across the program, while engineering and production expertise supported efficient fabrication.
Distribution was organized around the installation network. Rather than shipping materials separately to more than 160 stores, Federal Heath shipped to 23 trusted installation partners. This approach reduced logistical complexity and positioned materials with the teams responsible for completing the field work.
Regional staging also helped installers plan multi-store routes. With materials available through those partners, teams could coordinate mobilization and scheduling around groups of locations. The distribution model connected production with installation, supporting the pace required by the six-week program.
Throughout the effort, proactive communication and attention to detail kept the collaboration focused on Hibbett’s expectations. The approach reflected Federal Heath’s commitment to listening, planning with the customer and following through on a shared delivery goal.
THE RESULT
The updated logo boxes were successfully deployed across 165 stores in 12 states within the six-week timeline. The completed program brought the New Balance branding transition to participating locations through coordinated manufacturing, distribution and installation execution.
The result demonstrates the value of treating a retail signage rollout as one connected program. Consistent specifications supported production, the regional distribution model supported field planning, and the installation partners carried the program through to completion across the store network.
For Hibbett, the project was another step in a relationship built over more than a decade. Federal Heath continues to support evolving brand initiatives with an understanding of the customer’s footprint and a commitment to dependable execution.
