NATIONAL REIMAGING

One Brand. Hundreds of Locations.

Since January 2023, Federal Heath has completed sign face replacement projects for approximately 550 Whataburger locations across the United States, as documented in the original case study. This coordinated effort supports Whataburger’s image enhancement goals and helps its signage reflect the brand’s standards for quality.

A national program requires attention to both the overall identity and the details at each property. Thorough site surveys provide accurate information for site-specific solutions, helping the team address existing sign conditions within the larger reimaging effort.

The partnership with Whataburger’s Maintenance Service Center team supports consistent execution across locations. Each completed face replacement contributes to a familiar, recognizable restaurant image.

Signage Enhancements Built Around Each Site

The scope includes building letters and logo faces made with acrylic, flex, and polycarbonate materials, along with pylon and monument sign updates. These different sign types work together to carry Whataburger’s identity across the property.

At selected locations, painting poles and cabinets was added to the scope. Those needs were considered alongside the applicable maintenance agreement, which includes one repaint during the contract term under the fixed-rate arrangement described in the case study.

Dependable Execution Across the Program

Federal Heath consistently met—and often exceeded—the deadlines outlined in its proposal agreements. That reliability helped keep the image enhancement program on track while maintaining attention to quality and brand consistency. The result reflects the value of an experienced signage partner and a relationship built over decades.
