Virtual Malls becoming a reality?

This Christmas season, Australian residents will be able to visit and shop at over 100 retail locations, while in the in the comfort of their own home. The 360 Degree Mall will allow users to shop inside virtual stores,  as well as to interact and shop with other users. The 16-year-old creator of the Mall “promises an interactive and entertaining experience.”

The 3D shopping site debuts October 1, 2012, just in time for the holiday season.
